I (Nikki Brighton)  live in Howick, between the river and the hills. I love pre-dawn walks with my dog, sitting on the veranda with crochet and tea, and harvesting vegetables outside the kitchen door.

I believe that the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is the Centre of the Universe. This blog celebrates our creative community and life at a slightly slower pace.
